Who Are We
Five Points Community Collaborative (5PCC) is a resident-led nonprofit that brings together residents, neighborhood organizations, businesses, schools, and public partners to strengthen Charlotte’s Historic West End. We build relationships, encourage civic participation, and provide a collective voice for the Biddleville-Smallwood, Seversville, and Wesley Heights neighborhoods.
What We Do
Through year-round events, neighborhood programs, health and wellness initiatives, volunteer opportunities, public space activation, and community partnerships, we create opportunities for residents to connect, build trust, and become active participants in their community.
These relationships create the foundation for collective action. By keeping residents informed, encouraging civic participation, and mobilizing the community around shared priorities, 5PCC advocates for issues affecting Charlotte’s Historic West End while ensuring resident voices are represented in decisions that shape the future of its neighborhoods.
Why We Were Established
As Charlotte’s Historic West End experienced new investment and redevelopment, residents recognized that many opportunities and challenges extended beyond individual neighborhood boundaries. Decisions about housing, transportation, economic development, and public spaces affected multiple neighborhoods, making collaboration and collective action more important than ever.
Specifically, redevelopment surrounding Savona Mill, the West Trade Street corridor, and other major projects reinforced the need for a unified residential voice. In response, Five Points neighborhoods came together to share information, encourage resident participation, and advocate for the community’s shared interests.
Today, 5PCC continues to strengthen Charlotte’s Historic West End through relationship-building, community engagement, advocacy, and resident driven initiatives.

Community Building & Mobilization
Building relationships, sharing information, encouraging participation, and creating opportunities for residents to get involved so communities are prepared to respond to issues affecting Charlotte’s Historic West End.
Health & Well-Being
Promoting active lifestyles, wellness, and opportunities for residents of all ages to improve their quality of life.
Community Revitalization
Activating parks, greenways, plazas, and other public spaces through programming, stewardship, beautification, and community involvement
