We invite neighborhoods, residents, churches, and businesses to create experiences that showcase what makes their corner of the West End unique. Help create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the West End.

Five Points Community Collaborative

One of the goals of West End HUETIFUL is to encourage people to explore neighborhoods throughout the Historic West End. Every neighborhood can celebrate in its own way.

Ideas include:

  • Host a neighborhood cookout, potluck, or block gathering.
  • Set up a neighborhood farmers market or community pop-up market.
  • Display neighborhood history, artwork, or historic photos.
  • Host a neighborhood movie night.
  • Showcase your musical talents by playing an instrument on your porch or with friends and neighbors.
  • Create sidewalk chalk art or positive messages (where permitted).
  • Decorate your street, porch, or yard in HUETIFUL colors.
  • Organize lawn games, Double Dutch, or jump rope for neighbors.
  • Invite local artists, musicians, or performers to participate.
  • Welcome visitors and encourage them to explore your neighborhood.
  • Invite friends and family to experience the Historic West End.
There is no right or wrong way to participate. Whether it’s something simple or something larger, every neighborhood can help make West End HUETIFUL a celebration that extends throughout the Historic West End.
